“30 artists from all continents converge in Frascati to remind the world that “with art we can all be closer”, says Marcello Carboni, creator and coordinator of the event.

From 1 to 4 June 2023, the Accademia Vivarium Novum, in collaboration with the Accademia Internazionale dell’Acquarello and Parco regionale dei Castelli Romani, organized the first edition of “L’Acquarello sulle vie del Grand Tour 2023”, located in one of the most beautiful villas of the Tuscolano Grand Tour: Villa Falconieri in Frascati.
Four days dedicated to the art of watercolor. Villa Falconieri and the Scuderie Aldobrandini in Frascati also hosted the most famous watercolourists and illustrators on the international scene, who exhibited their naturalistic works on flora and fauna, showing the secrets of their art.
“It ‘s very important to understand that art must be brought back to her former glory, quality must be respected, understood and spread. The project was born with this aim: re-educate people to beauty and to the possibility of fully enjoying it . Art is for everyone, and every single things that transmit art has its own meaning and value. – says Tiziana Tagliabue of the Accademia Internazionale dell’Acquarello to TeleAmbiente . – We add our voice to the ones that already exists, without any criticism. But let’s add an extra voice to raise the level of knowledge and the possibility of approaching art in a more serious and productive way”.
“This was the goal that enliven my ideas together with Professor Miraglia: to bring back in time but also push forward the humanity of what art has always been, a bond between different people, in a moment when we need to rediscover what beauty really is. We need to reappropriate art, through contents, through values – says Marcello Carboni, creator and coordinator of the event. – 30 artists from all continents came here to Frascati, in a place where the Grand Tour is taking place, to remind the world that with art we can all be closer“.
